Current future plans:

Become a Piano Tuner/Technician

• I have been attending Piano Technician’s Guild meetings in Lansing since Feb 2024, and completed the Piano Technician Academy online training program.

• I have started offering free piano tunings to folks in the area as I continue to work on my skills. If you’d like to schedule a free tuning while I’m still learning, don’t hesitate to contact me!

Grow a studio of 25-30 private students

• I currently have 21 wonderful students, both online and in-person

Compose & release a full album of piano solos

• I have 6 solos composed, 4 of which are recorded and published on bandcamp. I am currently working on my 7th solo. I expect to need around 8 solos to reach album length (approx 40 minutes)

Pursue a master’s degree in music composition, piano pedagogy, music technology, or similar

• I am currently preparing for auditions in Fall/Winter 2026 at Oakland University for Piano Pedagogy

Provide online, beginner, adult group classes for piano and music theory

• For a long time, I couldn’t find a suitable online platform to host this, but I’ve recently found something I think would work really well, so I just need to develop the lesson plans/program.
